Newest China visa policy introduced: it's getting easier!
April 25, 2021
Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic started, travelling overseas among different countries has become an inaccessible luxury: most of the countries shut their borders down and restricted international travelers. As an international Chinese learning center, we are feeling pain because this blocked many enthusiastic Chinese learners from coming to our school. However, recently a huge change has occurred! According to the recent visa policy from the Chinese consulate, for COVID-19 Vaccine Recipients it would be easier to apply for a Chinese visa. China has also announced that it will simplify the visa application process for foreign nationals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19, specifically with Chinese-made COVID-19 vaccines. The Chinese Embassy in the United States will provide facilitation for visa applicants fully inoculated with Chinese COVID-19 vaccines under the following conditions:
(1) Vaccine must be administered at least 14 days prior to the submission of the visa application.
(2) One must show proof of the procedures done: the vaccination certificate.
On the other hand, if you are holding a valid APEC business card, you may apply for the M visa by simply presenting the original valid APEC business travel card and an invitation letter issued by the inviting party from China. Now, as the process is getting easier, we are looking forward to welcoming you to learn Chinese in our school one day, no matter where you are from :)
